Streaming UBD FM

With UBD FM recently being featured on ProjekBrunei and EmmaGoodEgg’s tweet I thought this would be an appropriate time for me to post this.

• Link to playlist (.pls) file: http://bit.ly/ubdfmbrunei or http://202.160.1.55:8000/listen.pls

It seems there is no easy surefire way to get the URL’s to play on all platforms. Some players recognize all URLs some recognize only some. The best bet is to try each one I’ve summarized most below:

• VLC: All URLs work fine (File > Open Network)
• iTunes: http://bit.ly/ubdfmstream or http://202.160.1.55:8000 or http://202.160.1.55:8000/listen.pls (Advanced > Open Audio Stream)
• Windows Media Player: http://bit.ly/ubdfmstream or http://202.160.1.55:8000 (File > Open URL)
• Nokia Internet Radio: http://202.160.1.55:8000
• Android: http://bit.ly/ubdfmbrunei or http://202.160.1.55:8000/listen.pls (input in the browser and open in the appropriate application e.g. StreamFurious / XiiaLive)
