I’ve seen Disqus used all over the web and is something I totally supported as it provided a simple way to provide authenticated/identifiable comments and it didn’t require a login… at least not until recently.

I’m not too sure when the change was made but apparently even if I “Sign in with Twitter”, I still need to register a Disqus account which completely defeats the purpose that I have for using Disqus. I don’t want yet another login credential to manage and it shouldn’t be forced upon me. I guess the only way to solve this is to have “Guest Commenting” which isn’t enabled on this particular site I was trying to comment on…
