Considering I want something to record audio for church and that I want to migrate away from my Tungsten E2 ,thats used mainly for audio playing in the car, this little guy has grabbed a heck of alot of my attention (since last night). It’s manual can be downloaded from the iriver website which is a nice touch on iriver’s part and my only complaint is the battery life as stated on the iriver ‘Overview’ page and the ‘Spec’ page:
Overview page:
Music : Plays up to 22 hours/Video : Plays up to 6 hours
Spec page:
Continuous Playback Time(Audio) – Approx. 9 hours(mp3, 128kbps, MP3, EQ Normal)
Thank goodness the manual confirms the values on the Overview page.
QQeStore is selling it for $258! Sweet. Linux supporting, OGG playing, video enabled, direct line-in recording, non-Apple player.
Ok time to calm down and rationalize my thoughts….
