been a long day…

had only 1 lecture from 10-12 but it was a long day coz i was on duty 4 the IES old bks sale…

and the lecture… the lecturer was slow!!!! i was playin wc3 ROC in lecture :P:P
2 games.. and he covered like 6 slides!!!! and it wasnt even hard stuff.. it was basically stuff we learnt b4 and it was just revision… sigh… lecturers like this… ‘waste’ my time goin lecture……

after lecture was in charge of the old bks sale. had 2 collect bks then later i was cashier.. hehe $$$$ :P
crap.. i need 2 make a uploading images module… so i can just upload images via the website.. lazy 2 open up the ftp :P:P
thats how lazy i am :$:$:P

oh yea… what made the day longer was my body hurting all over..
this is what happens when u barely ever excercise and decide to spend 1 whole afternn tryin 2 play tennis AND badminton :P:P
need 2 play more.. hehe
badminton nice 2 play coz not much idleness.. tennis lots of idleness coz i cant hit the ball properly :$:$:P:P
wanted 2 play table tennis but no1 wanted 2 play.. or more like no1 else could play :P
but it was kinda sad.. at 1st it was 3 guys, 1 tennis racket, 1 badminton racket and no badminton net :p finally got 1 tennis racket from chee wooi b4 he went lecture..
then ended up playin tennis until c’may comes back from driving…
he finally comes at abt 3+….
play until 4+ then called it a day… at least 4 sports :P
the rest of the day ‘trainin’ w/ whalbar 4 ies network games competition…
abt 10 games of wc3… then finally after wooi boy comes back from lecture and after dinner played w/ him.. but then after 1 game, somethign wrong w/ his comp…
so nvrmnd.. whalbar took 1 tub of ice cream back w/ him (the ice cream c’may gave coz it was almost expiring and he has like 6 tubs of them….)
and he returned my spoon 2day :P

anyway.. i better get working.. got tuts 2 do and bks 2 read..

i thought it was a bit early for the bus 2 leave but i was like *phew* got a bus quick…. Buses supposed 2 leave every 15min so was hoping 2 get the 1215 bus… i reached the pgp bus stop at abt 1210 so i was wondering y the bus was leaving a bit early… I only realised when the bus reached sci and i saw lots of ppl!!! :'(
could have just waited for an A2 and take a 3min ride instead of this 11+min ride
so im writing this on the bus.. At KR now, and im off 2 my very late bday treat

met every1 except Keng @ suntec and whve lunch at subway then went 2 c the national lib bk sale at suntec expo hall. .$2 a bk!! lots of bks =| was browsing 4 a long time. found lots of bks….. wanted so many of them!!! :'(:'( had 2 even sort out the bks bcos i had 2 many – didnt want 2 carry so many bks home =p
finally decided on some bks and headed out 2 max brenner’s chocolate bar @ esplanade. got there and decided what 2 eat. man was it GOOD!!! my only complaint (aside from the price) was that i didnt order something with more chocolate!!! quite little choc on the choc cheese cake. also… i forgot 2 take photos of the food!!! :'(:'( nothing 2 remmber it by except 4 the $80+ receipt!!! :'(:'(

after that went 2 sim lim & funan looking 4 games & possible vouchers 4 IES fair…. saw mr president, KC, at sim lim getting his new pc… saw him 3 times!!!! also saw max payne 2 selling 4 $79.90!!!! :'(:'(:'(:'(:'( so ex… :'(:'(
only found 2 places that vouchers can be obtained….
from funan went 2 get bus. just missed the bus by 30secs!!!! :'(:'(
had 2 wait abt 20 more min….

almost back now. @ canadian pizza.
goin back 2 eat dinner w/ wooi boy then back 2 cleaning rm. was cleaning b4 i left

got up early after at abt 730…
dang early esp since i slept at abt 1….
came back the nite earlier at abt 1130…

what did we do that day??.. 1stly left rm at abt 3pm..
kcs was supposed 2 arrive at abt 1420pm… but since the last time met up w/ him, he took like 2+ hrs 2 come 2 the hotel, thought we were ‘safe’…
got the 2 hotel at abt 4pm… luckily checked w/ reception whether he checked in or not, else would be waitin till who knows how long we could have been waitin 4…

so after that end up goin arnd town lookin 4 his precious cds….. :P:P
wasting my time walkin arnd.. :P after that we ended up goin 2 eat satay at clarke quay… expensive :|:|:”(:”(
but have 2 say the gravy/sauce was nice. :P
then after that went grocery shopping coz that boy wanted 2 bring qoo and wintermelon tea back 2 canada :P
after that was back 2 hotel and slack arnd 4 a bit b4 goin back

now where was i??.. back 2 the notes sale.. :P
i wasnt on duty but since i went 2 lecture early i decided to help out setting up the booth…
whalbar thought he was late 4 lecture… he thought it was at 9 not 10.. :P
so ‘dumped’ him in the LT while i did the notes sales…
sold some notes and then found out that there was no change…. :”(:”(
had 2 sponsor some change… dun even remmbr how much :P
then finally took my free set of notes and went 2 lecture…
after lecture came back out 2 help w/ the notes sale coz i was on duty after lecture…
end up all the notes 4 my grp being sold out b4 i could even get a copy :'(:”(
after that went back rm 4 a while b4 goin 4 comp graphics lecture…

had 2 walk all the way there… luckily i went early so i had time 2 spare….

after the lecture, which was boring i have 2 say… went straight 2 meet my cousin daryl at golden landmark hotel…
get there and he wants 2 play pool.. as alwez…
so we go off searchin 4 the place.. wandered arnd bugis and suntec 4 the place.. finally found it…
he wants me 2 play wen i havent touched a cue in over 6 months…
and as alwez i find out that i still cant sink straight shots :$:$
anyway… finally lost 2 him 7-5 i tink…
after that went lookin 4 pastamania near ck tangs.. had some good ice cream b4 that at the basement of ck tangs…
finally find pastamania and i add 2 much cheese 2 my carbonara :$:$
making 2 rich 2 be very edible :$:$
and after that had haagen dazs… got 1 practially full tub left in my freezer hehe :D:D
came back via taxi at abt 1130…
slept at abt 1…

no class 2day but still get up at 8 :|:|:|

then go accompany chinmay 2 doctor…
complainin that his bursts blisters on his feet hurt coz he was playin barefoot in sentosa…
while he went doctor and do his SEP stuff i was in clubrm….
tingyi was there complainin abt the ies logo on the door fallin down…
stayed there doin IES website till chinmay came along w/ naved..
then we went 2 sci 2 eat…
and after that back 2 clubrm 2 do website… :P
rom was there doin 1 guy’s membership card.. weird prob.. he had the wrong # on his temp card… so wen we look 4 the official card, we c a diff name :P
at least i found out the prob and we solved the prob…
tingyi being sleepy, tried 2 sleep on the chairs in the clubrm.. :P
she went off 4 lecture after that while i go back 2 IES website debuggin :”(:”(:”(
abt 4 candy comes coz she’s meeting a vendor at the clubrm
after the vendor leaves, wee meng comes… waitin 4 notes 2 be deliverd…

i felt i was on schedule doin my work.. then after come back from airport formatted comp :P then spent the rest of the day ‘wasting’ away updatign and installing stuff.. end up fall behind schedule!! :”(:$

been a long time since the last post :p

so much 2 say..
came back from brunei on 12th.
was supposed 2 meet hao on 11th, but no SIA flights on thursdays…

so came back on fri afternoon, packed and went KL the next mornin :p
packed quite a lot compared 2 every1 else :$:$:$
was a loooooooooooooooong bus ride.. left at abt 0930 and arrived at abt 1545.. 6+hrs :|:|:|
all 8 of us on the bus, me, kc, zhiqiang, gordon, wang feng, candy, tingyi, vidhya. we would meet wee meng in kl
was a nice bus tho. 3 seats a row. comfortable enuf :D
got 2 KL.. so much traffic :|:|:|
wen we finally got off, waited at a&w while others went 2 find hotel
then they finally came back we went 2 the hotel.. man was it hot!!! it was above a bus station!!!! dang crowded, dirty and stuffy :”(:”(:”(
finally got 2 the rm and then rested a while b4 we went out 2 times square…
went 2 pasar malam also, then went back 2 hotel.
after every1 showerd we all converged 2 the girls rm and ended up playin cards and playin win lose or draw on my zire 71 :D :p
ended up sleepin at 3 i tink :p

the next day i was up at 8 :|:| dunno y.. but then went 4 complimentary breakfast and then after that we went off 2 pasar again.. then 2 sunway lagoon we went. had my 1st encounter w/ a roller coaster :|:| it was a tame 1 and still my stomach cant take it!! :”(:”( well actually it could take it, but only just :”(:”( conclusion; no roller coasters 4 me :p
then we went on the suspension bridge and candy was afraid of heights… and she was clinging on 2 me 1/2 the way across the bridge :p:p at least she made it across..
then went on the ‘spinning tea cups’ equivalent ride. 1st time i was wondering y my fren’s ‘cup’ was rotating so fast.. then realised that we could rotate it..
hehe.. went on the ride again, 3 of us guys rotating the cup till it was spinning soooo fast.. hehehe the ride itself was all on the ground, but due 2 the rotation, it felt like the cup was tilting.. hehehe then wee meng ended up getting dizzy :p
after that some of them went ice skating. i ended up goin ‘shoppin’ 2 candy and vidhya :| well actually the time was mostly spent watchin the other ice skate. those 2 went into the shop, i hang arnd outside lookin down at the ppl skating
after that we had dinner and then went 2 KLCC 2 have a look at the petronas twin towers..
it glows diff colours.. includin green!!! :D:D:p:p
after i had 2 accompany tingyi and vidhya back 2 hotel while the others went 2 pasar malam again.. wen every1 came back and showerd it was time 4 debt clearing :p
gatherd in the rm wee meng, zhiqiang and wang feng were sharing..
after debt clearing ended up talkin.. abt this and taht and ghost stories.. :|:|:|
ended up scaring a few of us esp tingyi…
we almost all slept in that rm… but finally decided 2 retreat back 2 our own rms and sleep…

so slept at abt 4am woke up at abt 10am.. it was monday and we were off 2 the twin towers 2 go on the skybridge…
guess wat??

so ended up just roamin arnd klcc b4 goin back 2 hotel and checkin out…
after checkin out we had 2 wait 4 the bus. we waited at the hotel lobby.. every1 dang tired… well at least i know i and kc were :p
u can judge from the photo that i will upload later.. kinda lazy now :p
so finally we got on the bus and waited 4 another long bus ride..
got back just b4 12…
and realised that the next day would be stayin w/ kcs at allson hotel…
so had 2 pack again…

got up the next day at 9.. slept at abt 2.. went out 2 got ies banner design which was not ready, and then off 2 meet hao. went out and playd wc3 and cs at bugis. after walkin here and there and back 2 hao’s hotel went 2 allson 2 wait 4 kcs…
his flight landed at abt 11 and he took free bus 2 hotel…
he came at abt 1am… then after checkin in, went makan and slept at abt 3am..
had 2 be up at 6+ again so that boy can catch his bus 2 airport 4 his SIA flight…
so ended up leavin the hotel at 7+ went back 2 rm and slept…
then had 2 go out 2 get ies monitor…
i feel i shld have got a ‘better’ monitor… sigh.. alwez like that..
wenever i buy then i realise stuff.. :”(:”(
finally got the monitor back 2 the rm and connected it up, its all workin :D:D
came back showered and slept.. i tink i slept at abt 430. got up at abt 8.. at least caught up on most of my sleep..
but now i feel ive lost the meanin of time.. its 2240.. but i feel like its mornin!! :”(:”(:”(
anyway..i got 2 organise stuff photos.. :p
need 2 organise all my stuff…
