Went ice skating today!!!
1st time ever for me. I’ve rollerbladed before for like 5 minutes? Didnt make much progress there. All I can say is that the rail is my friend :P
But it was a good day. Went with my orientation group (Chee Wooi, Andrew, Shengfang, Weilin, Jing How and Jeff) that I was leading for CPE1 orientation 2004 and Ya Chee and Chinmay. I DIDN’T FALL!!!! YAY!!! I thought my butt would be suffering after skating but its still nice and fresh :P Had a few close calls though :P
I saw this nice book the other day. Read the warning and dedication :P I want that book haha
(Hope I don’t infringe any copyright laws :S If I do do tell me :P)
Anyway off to do some work for the meeting tomorrow.
Tomorrow off to Chinmay’s place for food muahahaha!!!:P:P

My first exam of the semester: EE3101 Digital Signal Processing. Not too bad. Maybe the ‘easiest’ of the 3 written exams I have. I should sleep early but I’m not sleepy though. Maybe its good that the exam is at 1pm. Wednesday is a 9am paper =| Don’t even remember the last time I was up at 9am :P

I should buy popcorn to eat. Craving more popcorn :P Only thinking of popcorn because of this. I’ve heard that you are not supposed to try to pop unpopped kernels. Anybody else heard of this?

Anyway play something to relax myself before sleep I guess. Got back to playing Quake III. Aaahhh the good old days.

Studying EE2011 (just realised I typed 2012 instead of 2011!!!!! what the heck!?!?!??!?!?!?!?!) is a bore :”(
And heck I havent even really studied :'(
Just trying to do the cheat sheet for the entired afternoon till now :| And already I’m drained. Too much math. Too much crap.
So on to tutorials and past year papers. I really dont know how to get through this. Just utter crap.
Thats it. Shower then ice cream then work on bed :”(

On a side note. Nintendo Acapella: for those Nintendo fans out there :P Nice stuff.

Opera website been sluggish all day, so much so that they’ve put an alternative homepage to reduce bandwidth consumption to aid downloading :)

Sidenote: Studying EE2011 Engineering Electromagnetics is soooooooooo bad :'( Boring mathematics and equation after equation after equation after EQUATION!!!!!!! I should go back to reading more of it :(
Tomorrow on to study EE4210 Computer Communication Networks II. And past year papers. Hope and pray I get it done :P

Well the projects and labs are finally all done. Handed in 2 lab reports today and back to studying. Studying sleepily because I was awoken this morning by a friend’s SMS at about 9 saying that there was a long queue for luggage storage. I wanted to queue up but after seeing the crowd I was too lazy to :P
Slept at about 2am so was sleepy but felt it was time to get up. So ‘bummed’ around for about an hour before going to hand in reports. After that been trying to study EE2011 Engineering Electromagnetics. Sleepily study. Almost done with the first part. The second part is more managable due to the fact that there was a quiz in each tutorial.

Oh wait not all projects are done. Hopefully hand in report for EE2001 on the remote controlled boat. Its basically all done. Just need to do a few code updates and put that in the report. Maximum page limit is 50 excluding code listing. Countable pages is 49, total report length is 170+ :|
Anyway back to studying. Goodluck for exams people and study well.

EE3208 Computer Embedded Systems done.
EE4210 Computer Communications Networks II ‘done’ minus exam and report.
EE2001 to be done in about 12 hours.
The remote controlled boat works. Bluetooth phone connection works. Direct server control works. Internet client control works (though I dont think I’ve really tested it :S:S:S). Car works in the sense that the motors move. But its too heavy to move properly :(. Guess my extra feature of a server to support both a car and a boat wont work as perfectly as I hoped. But what do you expect. So after tomorrow NO MORE PROJECTS!!!! =D=D=D For the semester at least.
Still got 2 more lab reports to do for EE3101 Digital Signal Processing and STUDYING!!!! Luckily only 3 examinable modules this semester but the timetable is packed. 25th , 27th and 29th.
Its going to be 1 heck of a reading week.

EE3208 Embedded Computer Design is ‘done’ =D
Well I havent fully tested the IR detection but everything else works =D
Tomorrow maybe add a filter for my sound. But this module feels so rewarding once its done =D
But there are still reports to be done :(

My boat is ‘done’ too. Report and presentation material to prepare.
Networks II little bit of programming to do and report to do. I think I’ll actually survive this semester =D Thank God.
But its done =D=D

Life seems to suck again

The 12V accumulator can power the 2 motors at easily giving LOTS of power (direct connection). Sounds real loud and nice. However once I connect it to the motor circuit it doesnt even move on the highest power :'(
Is my LRRH not meant to set sail? :'(
The only good news is that an accumulator will be used instead of buying new batteries all the time. The only batteries used will be for the transmitter.
