anyway… life been good. been busy. yesterday got external casing 4 2.5″ HD 2 use 4 my bro’s old HD. sis was in town so got free food again :p
anyway.. i better get back 2 work…

holidays r good so far… but was hit by agobot virus the other day (other info abt agobot: 1, 2)
knew something was wrong coz most anit-virus software websites were redirected to localhost…
but any1 who gets something like this and still wnats 2 be able 2 get 2 a/v websites, u can use guardster webproxy. have 2 thank my boss yao kan 4 introducing it 2 me last time when the IES comp was having problems :P
avg and panda could detect it…
NUS’s trend micro a/v could tho… but the thing is.. when it installed it UNINSTALL AVG!!!! w/o even prompting me!!! what the heck!!$*(@$*(!$!!

i admit it was good that it helped me detect the virus… but it shld just remove my old a/v w/o informing me…. !$!$!$!!!!

woke up.. did more installing of program…

then went 2 meet internship supervisor. lunch w/ cmay then after that did orientatn stuff w/ ty. just basically choose photos…
in the process whalbar comes and lo and behold… he accidentally makes my zire fall 2 the ground from the desktop….
screens cracked… colours all gone… touch screen still works…..
so im pda-less now…
still can ‘use’ it tho… but not much.. just mp3 player i guess….
camera still seems fine.. but who knows what a drop, that has enuf shock 2 crack the screen, could do 2 the camera lens and all…..

then went back 2 rm 2 dump clubrm trolley and get stuff 4 whalbar and ty…
came up the lift just 2 find out i left keys in the clubrm…
no mood already.. just went back clubrm continue orientatn stuff…

was tryin 2 do the thing in flash.. but found it was 2 time consuming, so as not 2 waste ty’s time, just pick photos and songs and just get the rough layout of the thingy… now just need 2 compile it..
will do it in flash.. just 2 learn 4 myself, even tho i’ll prolly 4get it sooner or later :P
i mean, i HAVE used flash b4… 4 a competition for ISPs (independent study pts) :P but 4got most of it all already :P

kinda fell asleep yesterday while updating windows…
woke up 2 find out that comp had restarted, after an update i guess..
and still didnt have sp1 installed…
so i tried downloading…
then comes the RPC shut down in 1 min crapola thingy….
i go find the removal and patch…
the funny thing is.. i install the patch.. and just when it ENDS the RPC error msg comes up!!!! what the !*&$^!&*%$&!*^$&*!^&*$!!!!!!!!

after trying a few times 2 no avail, i system restore…..
which i tink took as long as a reformat and reinstall which i tink i shld have done…. make life easier….. then start from scratch… but basically now i AM starting from scratch coz i restored to almost when i just reinstalled…..
so…. right now installing sp1…

im learnin 2 hate windows ‘progress’ bars… the windows update 1 shows like less than 1/2 done… the sp1 shows like 95+% done.. and thats the ONLY update… thats really ‘accurate’ huh….
just like showing that sum1 got 40% when they actually got 95%… notice the discrepancy here? i do, and im learnin to hate it more and more…..
started noticing yesterday…. lousy windows…. delay sp2 again… or was it the consolidated patch and not sp2.. whatever it is.. they delayed it again.. .basically it contains all the updates and patches needed….. just what i need.. and its delayed….

yesterday waited like 30min 4 bus 10 after goin sim lim!! :”(:”(:”(
came back started backing up stuff…
couldnt finish backing up so continued this morning…
then wanted 2 format but had 2 wait 4 ty 2 call so can pass her her charmed on my laptop so didnt format yet.. when i finally got 2 format it i started installing and updating..
when i was installing sp1 after like 1hr+ of updating and installing, i got the rpc ‘shut down in 1 minute’ msg!!! :”(:”(:”(
sp1 was almost done… i have 2 say that the ‘progress bar’ is not accurate at all.. in only started installing stuff when the bar was like over 95%.. b4 that it was creating restore point and backing up stuff.. it even said create a restore pt b4 installion, then in the installation there is another creating restore pt!!!!
as i was saying… the 1 min shut down thing.. so ended up sp1 did NOT finish installing.. then tried 2 boot back up and when the user login screen of windows tries to show i get a blue screen of death!!!!
rebooted, the same thing!!!!
had 2 reformat and reinstall AGAIN!!!!!!! :@:@:@

was on monday till tues morn
TIRING!!!! that sums it up in 1 word :P
but it was good.
butt hurts from the hard seat of the bicycle!!!

got 2 pasir ris at abt 1130. went to costa sands resort to check out the place w/ zhiqiang and kc. then went 2 buy food w/ kc. came back and stone in the chalet 4 a bit. then wang feng and yao kan came. we rented the bikes 4 nite cycling. rode a bit and butt started 2 hurt :”( lousy seat…
zq started 2 learn how 2 cycle. just amazed that some ppl at such an age still dont know how 2 cycle. had another fren who didnt know how 2 ride till like last yr. just guess it would be one of the 1st childhood things u would learn…. heck.. ignorant me :$

then tingyi and candy came w/ the food!!!! then we slacked in chalet watchin tv eating the cooked food :p
waited 4 more ppl 2 come.. then started bbq fire.. i alwez start the fire…
but then.. its fun.. the possibility of being able to cause arson is fun… whoops :$ shldnt mention that here :P:P
then had 2 fetch vidhya who was waiting opposite the bus stop which is actually quite a distance from the chalet itself. so as i find her it starts raining….
i give her my bike 2 ride back while i wait 4 thang. when he comes we walk in the rain back 2 the chalet..

eat more food. then nite cycling!!! wanted 2 cycle to east coast park so planned out route via the comp provided near the lobby. got the route planned out then we started off.. zq still not good enuf so we didnt want 2 risk goin all the way there. so ended up we just cycle in a carpark near the bus stop. then went 2 eat at some food court. after that went cycle at the beach behind the chalet. zq improved alot over the course of the nite, i have 2 say. good job and congrats on being able 2 ride a bike now ;-) even w/ a few issues to be resolved sooner or later tho..

stayed up all nite, nite cycling.. went around the pasir ris mrt station and then went back 2 chalet 4 a while b4 setting out 2 try 2 catch the sunrise…
didnt get a nice sunrise view tho.. :(:(
tho did manage 2 get some good cloud pics..
will post a few pics when i get them.. if i rmmbr :P

so ended up didnt sleep at all :p and ended up w/ hurting hands, feet and butt!!!! the hands due to lousy handles…
and had interview abt internship on the day the chalet ended :P ended sleeping the rest of the day away tho.. but got up 2 watch monk :P:P
